The University of Winnipeg Film Festival provides students the opportunity to showcase their work while aiming to foster relationships between the students and the existing local industry. I was approached by the university to create the look and feel of the 20th anniversary festival. As a graduate of the university's film program, I was honoured to have been asked to design something for the department.
The approach for the UWFF identity was to create a look that echoed the history of the festival while also feeling contemporary and fresh. We went with a geometric graphic approach paired with clean typography. Posters, a program, and social media graphics were created to support the identity and advertise the festival.
